San Rafael
San Rafeal is a centrally located town situated between Greenbrae and Novato. A beautiful downtown offers lots of shops, cafes and restuaruants. Looking for a burger head on over to Barney’s Burgers, looking for music instruments then you’ve gotta check out Bananas At Large. You can easily find multi million dollar homes up in the San Rafael Hills and in the flat lands near Girstle Park. Did you know that what is now San Rafael was once the site of several Coast Miwok villages?
San Rafael for last decade or two has been best known for Lucas Film after the arrival of George Lucas in in 1970. The community is diverse, has an international presense and has harbors the famous Dominican University and McGinnis Golf Course and Peacock Gap Golf Course.
